I really really REALLY want to learn finnish, as I have relatives out there and the younger ones enjoy making fun of me because i dont speak the same language as them :( ! Can someone please teach me basic finnish so i dont have to listen to them talking in a language i dont understand, it gets REALLY annoying because they wont talk to me in english! PLEASE HELP!

I suggest you get a book and cd pack if you're serious about learning. Unfortunately, I wouldn't really say there's such thing as basic finnish because the grammar and stuff is all really complicated. But hey, I've learned finnish pretty well and I'm 14 and live in Canada so if I can do it you can for sure!

I'd recommend teach yourself finnish book and cd pack by terttu leney as well as finnishschool.com for vocab building.

Hope this helps!
