Football teams in Lahti

Hi,

Since I am quite new in Lahti I still have a lot to learn... I was wondering if there were some football teams here. Of course, there are, but I am not aiming at a professional career any longer . No, I mean football teams who consist of a group of friends, or teams which are connected to a bar/pub. Could be both outdoor or indoor (although it would be bad time to join an outdoor team now, season must be finished now).

Anybody here plays in a team? Or have a friend who plays in a team? Or knows a bar who has it´s own football team? Any advice would be welcome.

We have a 7-a-side works team (in Pori) in the summer, playing June and August, but there is nothing much to be found in wintertime.

If Finnish guys are going to play something indoors, it'll usually be floorball (salibandy) as it's similar to ice hockey.

I am also in Lahti, we have a get together with a few people from these forums, if interested can come to our next get together, it is supposed to be on the 25 th friday, only we have not fixed the place....there is a link where more information is put up as and when it comes......

interested, can come and see if enough people are there to organise one 5-7 side.....
