Recycling centers in Helsinki-area

Could someone give locations of recycling centers in Helsinki-Espoo-Vantaa area, where you can also buy used furnitures.

There used to be one in Olari (where now Minimani is)... anyone knows where it has moved.

I dont think you can buy stuff there but a very usefull place for dumping "difficult waste" such as old fridges has just opened on the Helsinki/Espoo/Vanta border.

It is FOC and open 8-16.00 drive in and dump in the right bin.
There is staff to check/advise.

Put.. papertie.. into street search; the entrance is above the "er" in the word "papertie" on the map. Just past the entrances to the paper factory and the cement works.

We use the above recycle centre in Paperintie each week or so, and we always have to pay.

I can't quite remember, but I think it is something like 7 or 10 Euros for a car's worth of mixed rubbish, 5 Euros if it is sorted (ie metal/ wood/ chemicals etc sorted out ready for putting into the right skip).

Note: something strange about this place.. you cannot pay with cash, only with a bank card.

But it is very organised, clean and well managed I think. Please remember that you should reverse up to the skips, if you park alongside the skips (and take up a few places) then people will give you those Finnish side glances!

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

... no.... but there is another one in Olari, next door to FilmTown video store, at the far end of that side street (near the dentist).

That is a "sortti-asema" I think on paperitie. YTV is pretty good with these.

Need to dump a wooden garden table and chairs (bad shape so not reusable).
Best place for this in Hki/Vantaa?

Cheers Upphew, passed by the Konala sortti on the way to Luukki today. It looks like €7.50 for re-usable and €15 for unusable rubbish per car with different prices for vans/lorries etc.
