I was a member awhile back but stopped reading when life was drowning me in the details of our move and getting my thesis done.

I am originally from Michigan in the U.S. and moved here to Finland with my husband. We arrived here earlier this month. My husband is Finnish and I have a resident's permit. I've started taking Finnish courses and I'm really enjoying them. Right now we're in Helsinki with my in-laws, but we'll be moving to our apartment in Espoo next month when the remodling is complete.

I just wanted to say hello (again) and give my best regards to everyone.

This may not be the best time of the year to come to Finland, but I suppose it's not much different from Michigan.
