A friend of mine sent this link to me and finally I had the chance to check it out! We are a group of Finns & Americans gathering occasionally to do something together, movies, play pool, just hang out etc. It would be great if we could join forces with some new people! So if interested, please reply!

Great to hear there are many of you out there :D Hmm, a bit more about me was one question..I'm a finn, lived in the US for some years long time ago, now in Helsinki for the 3rd year. I'm trying to maintain my language abilities by being involved in the Hki Finnish-American Society and of course, being around english speaking people, no matter what the nationality is!

Do you meet up regularly/occasionally?!?

Well as there are over 900 members..so meeting tend to be in smaller manageable groups...but the active members in the Helsinki area have had a few "meetings" but even then the numbers have been a problem.. :roll: 30 plus in a pub. :roll: ...so we are checking altrnatives.. :wink:
In the meantime we have this board to arrange smaller get togethers for a lunch time or evening beer..just watch for suitable postings.. "Annoucements" is where we usualy put info.. invite yourself...
