Last year's quilting group was so much fun that we are going to continue meeting. Only one of us completed our first project, the cathedral quilt, but the rest of us are stilll working on ours. We also made a community quilt which will be raffled in a few months with proceeds going to one of the AWC preferred charities. In September, we will participate in Quilt Pink and everyone who is a woman, knows a woman, or has ever seen a woman is welcome to drop by and make a block to help raise money for breast cancer research. We are currently seeking a free venue for the actual Quilt Pink day, but are definitely sponsoring a table at the AWC meeting in September. PM for details.
