child support payments

Post by lovingfather » Thu Aug 31, 2006 6:51 pm

Do I have to pay the mother via western union as she has "demanded to me"? it is rather pricey and not so easy from were I live.

Can you pay via bank wire or the registered mail, travelers checks?

Are there universally accpeted methods of payment that are used for child payments or can the mother choose "any method"

Like Sams payment service 100.00 Euro charge or carrier pigeons?

Very confused that their seems to be no universally acceptable methods or maybe I'm not being told the right information by my ex???

if anyone can help please respond or private message me this is NOT A JOKE! I'm need of serious help thank you

Have you all considered Paypal? Both of you get a paypal account and then transfer the funds to her account. I would think it would be quite easy, but really don't know much about the legality of child support and all.

Also, wiring money from one bank to another across borders usually costs about 30 euro if that much.

Good luck. You have a lot of options--it just depends on what is best for the situation.

Don't listen to your ex! I don't know the answer, but I can tell you your ex is not a good source. An important thing is you choose a method that gives you a solid track record so you can prove what you have payed your ex and when. More than a few child support payers have been screwed over by their exes when it comes to child support payments!

Well according to the above site, it should be deposited into her bank account:
Child maintenance is paid to the child’s custodian (deposited in a bank account specified by the custodian
But what shall it profit a people if they satisfy all material desires, but leave for their children nothing, only a wasteland.

Does anyone know the law number that states it must go into direct to bank transfer.

or have experinces with this process.

Also in finland is a email considered a legal notice or should it be notirized signed dated by party and mailed like in USA thanks.
