Toy Libraries in Espoo/Helsinki

Post by scoobymcdoo » Mon Sep 04, 2006 8:37 pm

Do such a thing exist here?

They are like a library except they lend toys and puzzles instead of books. Are there are any libraries that have puzzles for loan, my local doesn't!

Sophie is going through jigsaws at the rate of knots and it is costing me a fortune! We are now looking for 24 piece ones, wood preferably, if anyone can help.

Many thanks

Hannah and the puzzle monster

Fleamarkets I guess.

BTW. "Toys R Us" was advertising in Sunday's edition of Hesari (Jobs section). When, where are they to open? Anyone know?

They are opening up everywhere except the Helsinki region. There's several open already up north. I just heard from someone who had been to their local Toys R Us and was told the selection is nearly identical to BR Toys (which is no surprise considering they are merged)

Vantaa seems to be opening on the 16th November.

I had a quick look at http://www.toysrus.fi...my Finnish is awful though so it could have meant something else entirely! There is a links page which I assume is from some of the stuff they are selling....it is BR Toys, no Leapfrog, VTech, etc , but a good start.
