Getting a moroccan into Finland?
Is it really the easiest way to get your moroccan boyfriend
in Finland by first marrying him in Morocco?
And if you do that, does he have to have "secure means of support" while
aplying for the residence permit?
It's under the "Section 50 – Issuing residence permits to family members
of Finnish citizens" right? it's states there that it's not necessery...
And would he have to stay in Morocco until he gets the permit?
Or could he get into Finland before he get's it?
Is there an easier way to get him to Finland?
Job's are not easy to find and what would he study...

Not automatic, and they don't believe in 'love' unless you live together. And generally yes, there needs to be the means of support... Have you then what would he then benefit coming to Finland? What would he do, if he has no work and no means of support. Sit alone at home and you work? Would he enjoy it? Would you enjoy it? Maybe you should consider if you would move to Morocco, would you enjoy it?

Good question. After I point that out to him he says we could live in Norway... Like how's that helping?
I don't know what he could do and I know there are many
unemployed foreigners in Finland. He just want's to get out of Morocco...
Right, helping answer isn't it.
sweet talking
how many of the 28000 unemployed reside in Helsinki then?
I live in a place you'd call nowheremäki...
Well, meaby it's just easier for me to live there for a while.

off course he could come here on a visit visa and then marry him here, off course, i have seen a few morocans doing this same story,.....then i don't know if he is unemployed in morocco, then it will be a good thing to get a few euros even as handout's from the government.....
because it will take him at least 3 yrs to get through the language and all that.....so the struggle will drawn him or make him a man....
good luck

Actually he already tried a norwegian, but she turned him down...
right back at you
Hank trying to be EEEEvil. Cute.
He has a job right now, but he hates it...
How difficult would it be to get a visitors visa then?
He's not looking for an easy life. Believe me, it would not be easy living with me...
And anyway it's not like it wouldn't take time and I migth findout something that would change my mind and/or heart.
Meaning this thing is so fresh it might die out before anything we discuss here could even happen. I'm just wondering the possibilities...

If the only thing the Moroccan price wants to do is get out of Morocco, what makes you think he'll continue to live with you after he gets a residence permit, and not flutter away to the disco to get the next blonde to fall for that smile, especially as "you are so hard to live with"? If you can't even keep a Finnish man under the slipper, how do you think someone used to obedient womenfolk will stay?

Cheers, Hank W.

You, silly, silly, man.
What makes you think I haven't thought about that?
Then I'll definately know I'm a bad judge of character.
Why do you think love is considered a leap of faith by some people?
Meaby he'll stay long enough to get the citizenship...
Who knows. You think I'd do this if I didn't trust him?
And what I meant by "hard to live with" would be I will but him to work if he doesn't find any. And that I really suck at cleaning and keeping things tidy.
And I haven't really tried butting anyone under the slipper, not because I don't own a slipper but because finnish men don't really seem to care for someone as nice a girl as me.
And I don't know what kind of women he's used to but he seems to be a bit more civilized than you seem to think.
And I really can't imagine him going to a disco
...
Besides if he follows his religion he should be a very good man.
oh, yes and ofcourse I would make him sign an "avioehto" (what ever it was called in english).

Its good thing you think over these things.
If you go read through http://www.uvi.fi you see there is nothing "easy".
You might think he is the best invention since sliced cheese. Maybe you can convince your parents as well. However he himself has to convince the employers... so what does he have to convince them with? And you and he must convince the authorities. He might have "things planned" but the reality will be harsh. And don't tell me you're from Nowheremäki and planning on moving there...

Actually I am from nowheremäki and I already moved back here from another nowheremäki... I hate cities that everyone has heard of because they are too darn huge. Even Oulu...
Did I say it was easy and yes I've been to the UVI's pages already.
I just hate reading text I don't get.
And I think sliced cheese isn't a great invention. What do I do with the slicer then and it costs more...
So explain to me what did I get wrong with this piece of the law (taken from the Unofficial translation © Ministry of the Interior, Finland):
Section 50 – Issuing residence permits to family members of Finnish citizens
(1) Family members of Finnish citizens living in Finland, and minor
unmarried children of the family members, are issued with a continuous
residence permit on the basis of family ties upon application filed in
Finland or abroad.
(2) If the family member is an EU citizen or comparable person, the
provisions of Chapter 10 shall be observed as regards his or her entry
into and residence in the country, where applicable.
(3) Relatives other than family members of Finnish citizens living in
Finland are issued with a continuous residence permit if refusing a
residence permit would be unreasonable because the persons concerned
intend to resume their close family life in Finland or because the relative
is fully dependent on the Finnish citizen living in Finland. Such other
relatives shall remain abroad while the application is processed.
(4) Issuing a residence permit as referred to in this section or
registering the right of residence does not require that the
alien have secure means of support.
They just say that and do otherwise?
