has anyone ever searched for some audio help in the finnish language? i have, and haven't found any. so i came up with the idea to produce a finnish language learning podcast once a week or so. i am looking for anyone interested in joining me (hopefully you are a native finnish speaker). we would do short (20 minutes or less) podcasts introducing finnish language - and possibly culture. it is, of course, just a hobby, but who knows what doors it could open! if you're interested, please pm me.
thanks!

I've been looking...
I have been looking for audio files that teach Finnish to English-speakers (like myself), but to no avail. As many people that are looking for those kind of files, there sure are not a lot out there... I have only found podcasts in the Finnish language, but none that teach how to speak it. *sigh*

I would love to see this materialize. I cant appreciate the yle stuff yet.
Books are all very well, but its nice to hear a few teachers thrashing out ideas about how to understand grammar whilst being recorded.
I did come across this English/Finnish web radio thing once that had some guy talking about learning the Finnish language. That was real cool, but he was just a one-off guest.
This kind of stuff would find a home on my mp3 player for those long bus rides into town.
Good luck.
