Vatsatauti
It is a very general term in Finnish to cover any and all types of Stomach complaints.
The more specific problems will have a medical name..often the same in English and Finnish as the terms is often derived from Latin.

Actually diarrhea is ripuli in Finnish. I think vatsatauti means a mild infection of the stomach or intestines that causes you to vomit (sometimes diarrhea might be included in vatsatauti though). I'd say that vatsatauti could be something like "vomit disease of the stomach" in english.
If for example you hear that there's a vatsatauti epidemia going on in the local school you can be quite sure that some of the class rooms stink of puke.
