As I'm writing this, the Fox Tv station in the states is having a prerace show for the Daytona 500 which it will show live. Just download TVU player, click in Fox and enjoy, the picture is good.
You may remember last years teammate for Kimi Raikonen was Jean Pablo Montoya who left midseason when he announced that he is going to race in NASCAR. Well most FI purists will quickly dismiss NASCAR as B-class racing but for racing entertainment it really packs a punch. This is the good old US of A at its best with the production glamour and..........advertising.
I became curious when seeing how Montoya would do and in a qualifying race to the 500, he was leading until he retired with a rear hub failure. In a few hours he will be starting 35th in about a 44 car field.
