Does Jarvinen still make skis? I can't find the company on the web. Did they close down a long time ago or were they bought out? I have pair of skis from the 70's and they're still really good. I'd be grateful for any info.

Well, Järvinen went bankrupt in the 1990's, as did everything. Some brands were conglomerated, but its still one of the 3 "Finnish " brands. You can buy Järvinen skis even today, AFAIK manufactured by Esski Oy in Hollola. And no, can't find anything on the net either.
