MTB rims for a song...

Biltemma is selling built Alexrims ACE-18 wheels (strangely front only) for around cost price at 26 euro. 32hole, disc brake compatible with a quite ok sealed Shimano hub..

..its a bargain, as the rim itself wholesales for 23 euro...let alone the hub, spokes and rebuild cost...

..if you're looking for a spare wheel to carry a road tyre so you can keep an off-road wheel in one piece ready for a quick get-away...this is a good choice..

What hub is it? Seems to be quite a reasonable thing!

Kaksikerroksinen Alex ACE 18 -vanne 36H, jossa Shimanon levyjarrunapa HB-M475, varustettu levyjarrun kiinnittimellä, jossa on 6-reikäinen ulkolaippa, jonka ansiosta levyjarrun asennus etupyörään käy helposti ja kätevästi. HUOMAA: Levyjarrua varten tarvitset etuhaarukan, jossa on kaksi kiinnityssilmukkaa. Pyörään voi asentaa myös tavalliset V-jarrut. Alumiinivanne, jossa ruostumattomat Ø 2 mm pinnat. Vanteen leveys: 21,8 mm.

so its a HB-M475 hub, which isn't high spec but I used to ride old LX hubs a few years back that had the same spec as this and they lasted years...just needed a clean out and regrease at the end of winter if I'ld been getting muddy..
