Erasmus Day on 25th! (Tampere)

On Thursday 25th of April will take place the most fundamental Erasmus experience of the year: the Erasmus Day!

That day we´ll have various experiences at the University of Tampere & elsewhere. The day includes: dance, music, lecture and a film screening! In the evening there will be a party hosted by the students of technology from Hervanta!

The program of the day, as it is scheduled at this point, is:
11.30 opening of the Erasmus Day by the rector of the University of Tampere, Krista Varantola
11.30-12.30 a dance performance, a pop band playing, an Erasmus experience photo presentation, cake and toast for the first 100 people!
12.30 a speech given by a former Finnish Erasmus exchange student. This free lecture/speech will be given in English.
13.00 screening of the film L´auberge espagnol!!

the location of the events is in the upper lobby of the university main building. The speech and the film screening will take place in the lecture room A1, just beside the lobby. During the day, you´ll have a chance to talk with the people of the 20 years of Erasmus team and to see the celebrated Erasmus Van!

In the evening, at about 19h, will start the evening party in Hervanta at Teekkarisauna. For those who are unsure where and how to get there, we´ll organise a joint departure from the city center university.

All the program during the Day will be in English. The Erasmus Day is aimed for all the local students, be exhange or Finnish. It´s purpose is to promote the Erasmus exchange program, to raise awareness of the exhange possibility among the local students and to provide the students interested in international exchange a chance to celebrate the 20 years of Erasmus! Welcome!!
