Multicultural theatre in TRE: Tartuntavaara! opening

What would you be without your story?


A crisis meeting is due for Life and Death. An unknown disease is
spreading in the world and making people forget who they are and where
they come from. Along with their stories the patients also lose their
humanity. Life and Death have no choice but go and find out what the
disease is all about.

Tartuntavaara! (the title translates as 'danger of infection') is a
comedic theatrical performance in which dance, clownery, music and
visual arts meet storytelling. The project, which has been created by
a group of professionals and amateurs working in the field of art,
aims to promote tolerance and make multiculturalism and pluralism a
part of everyday experience.

Tartuntavaara! premieres on Thursday 3rd May at 7 pm in Cinola, the
Hervanta movie theatre, Lindforsinkatu 1. The play will also be
performed at Teatteri Telakka, Tullikamarin aukio 3.
