The Bicycle Day at the University

on Wednesday 25th from 11.30 p.m. to 14.30 p.m.

In the courtyard of the Pinni B building:

- The 'Bike Doctor' on call - bring your bike for a spring check-up!

- Have your bike security-marked, free of charge

- Second-hand bikes for sale from 12 a.m. to 2 p.m.

- A chance to measure the carbon dioxide emissions of your commute

- My favourite cycling memory, a photograph exhibition


* Events in the Kauppi campus area *

At the covered bicycle stands near the Finn-Medi 1 building

- Have your bike security-marked, free of charge, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

In the entrance hall of the Finn-Medi 1 building

- Free maps of the cycling routes in the Tampere region

- Bicycle maintenance for discount prices (for university students and staff) in the premises of Suomen urheilupyörä , a bicycle service company, at Kissanmaankatu 11

- A guided cross-country cycling excursion to the Niihama outdoor lodge!

Departure from Kauppi Sports Park (near the hall) at 4:15 p.m. There is a guided group departure to the Kauppi Sports Park from the courtyard of the Pinni B building at 3:45 p.m. Make sure you wear weatherproof clothing.
