off topic....

Hannah? Did I see you and Sophie in Olari Prisma at lunchtime today. I dashed in there during my (late) lunch hour. The person in front of me at checkout was speaking English, she had a little girl with her... could possibly be Sophie's age. Just a shot in the dark. I think I know all the local English mums by sight since most have kids at Komeetta.

If it was you - or whoever it was - then sorry I didn't say hi, I had to get home for lunch and then back to work.

When I saw Penelope had posted in this thread I thought...
"Did not know she had had another baby, perhaps it is girl this time.." wrong... sorry
People do not become more irritable as they grow old - they simply stop making the effort to avoid annoying others.

Yes, that could well have been us- the child in question was probably moaning that the check out girl wanted to price her yoghurts and Sophie was happily not letting go of them!

maybe we shall meet again there,

Hannah

(definitely) WRONG!!!

This week I am hosting three Dutch lads (exchange programme with Kulosaari yla-aste school) on top of my own three.... hence the frequent trips to Olari Prisma this week
