I was certain that Finland would lose, they always do in tight games.

Finnish defense was bad, but they managed to get by. Good effort from young team USA.

Jere Lehtinen was the hero of the game.... DALLAS STARS!

Gotta be total sarcasm. A-M strikes me as one of those fellow americans who knows better (though he appears to have a weakness for a pretty face and nice balloons )

Yes, thanks - of course it was sarcasm. Also, although I do have a weakness for a pretty face, I can't say that I'm a balloon type of guy. There are other pieces of female anatomy that attract my interest...

Sorry that happened, and I'm a bit surprised that happened in Helsinki. Most expatriate americans seem to be very conscious of the perception of the "ugly american" and try to repair that image while they're abroad.

And in any event, the fear of getting the sh** kicked out of them in some dark alley should have made them more humble.

I think you'll find most americans are pretty reasonable. When you have 300,000,000 people you've got all types.
