Hello,
I have just purshased a new small volvo in Finland.
Now comes the insurance question. I have been offered by Volvo an insurance to cover almost everything and costs around 1000 euros a year. I guess it is too much... or is it a good deal???
Has anybody any better advice. I mean, I just would like a minimum acceptable. Any tip will be handy.
Kiitos!!!

If you have a brand new car you better have the one with everything in it. Otherwise you'll pay your ass blue if anything happens. A grand is cheap if it is full-full coverage, they usually offer you a replacement car while yours is being fixed and whatnot. After say 5 years its worth only to have the regular kasko, and they only give partial then over that.
And how the heck can you afford to buy a new Volvo and then say insurance is expensive

1000 euros a year, is according to me pretty expensive! But of course I am driving just a Ford Fiesta and I live in the countryside. But I would go and ask for offers from the regular insurance-companies.
And if you have had a car insurance before (in your home-country for example), AND you have been accident-free, it is a good idea to ask for a certificate and give it to the Finnish insurance-company. You can save lots of money with that!
