Just wondering. I may be getting a job that will let me work from any region in the world, all I'll need is an Internet connection.
I'm looking at Finland and wondering if I'll be able to get by on this much.

Can you live in/near Helsinki with $26,000 a year?

Depends, if you are single with no commitments, and don't expect a high end life style, then just about, but you won't want to live in central helsinki on that level of income.DevilsRejection wrote:Just wondering. You should also consider that it is quite costly to move to a new country. Flights to get there, two months rent deposit, furniture, other expenses.
I personally would recommend you against taking on this move for that salary. But it does, of course, depend on what your lifestyle is like, and on what other options you have.
Also, students may live off less, but they may have access to cheaper student housing, cheap lunches etc.
