Official Translations from Finnish to English--where???

Post by Rimi » Sat Oct 13, 2007 10:33 pm

Hi all. I need to go next week and get a paper from the Maistraati and have it officially translated in English. Do any of you have an idea where I can get that done and how much it would cost (a ballpark figure)?

Thanks

Call the magistrate, they will usually do it in English too. I got married in Feb and got the name change paper from them in Finnish and English, hardly cost anything, couple of Euros.

and have it officially translated in English
I suppose you need this paper In England for something official?
Then either the maistraati gives you an official paper in English, or you need to have it translated by an official interpreter (either here or in the UK).

This link might also be handy, if you're looking for an official translator...

Thanks all. The Maistraati gave me what I needed in English for only 3.70.
