It is a real shame, I saw the interview with his life long partner who was very upset, but she said that he had lived life to the full and had a whale of a time! They are taking him back to be buried with his family in Whales!! No No please stop... just for history's sake he has one last port of call, the whale-weigh station!! Oh no ribs are cracking... Now I am going to cry or should I whale!!

What is so weird about a whale dying in Norway? ;)
What i wonder is how it lasted so long in there! :)

And burying a whale on the beach is also traditional. Though I think it was in Greenland and shark liver.... need to check.
Cheers, Hank W.
