Hi,

entrance examinations are USUALLY arranged only in Finland. Some universities of applied sciences, however, may have arranged exams abroad (in some Asian countries for example, perhaps also in some African countries?) but as far as I know, whether an examination might be arranged in country X depends on the amount of promising applicants from that particular country, and is totally at the discretion of the institutions themselves. Some institutions will only arrange the examinations in Finland.

You'd be best advised to contact the admissions offices, since they would probably know better.

the reason for the visa denial was because of the population and corruption in the country that people will travel for the exam and wont come back again.

If that is the case, even when you're accepted in a uni, it will be doubtful if you'll get a visa for studying.

i am a new user of this site,am from nigeria.i saw the way you advised our friend in the room which is also from nigeria,and i was encouraged.plz my own case is different.i for the oct/nov entrance examination,but due to some little complications,i aborted it and transfered it to february 2008.i believe and pray that after every application,i will be called for the entrance.but plz the problem i have is that,i seeked for some past questions on the past entrance,so i can prepare perfactly for the exams.but to my greatest surprise,they replied me that it was not going to be a written test but rather an oral test.plz i dont kno were to start from.plz i need somebody to help me out on what to do.joint application for
polytechnic/university of applied sciences degree programmes is were i applied.plz i dont want to loose this oppurtunity.
