Do you know where your nearest maternity place (neuvola) is?

If I were you I would go there the first thing tomorrow morning. Sit down in the waiting room, and when the nurse or midwife opens the door, just say that you have an important question. And then ask this same question(s). And don´t forget bleeding. They cannot ignore you even without a KELA card. The first meeting is with a midwife anyway, not a doctor. She will surely find a doctor for you if she thinks that you need a doctore urgently.

Right If I remember correctly you register at the police station which you have done.
You then rgister at the vero office
Then the Maistratti
Then you go to Malmi police station and register there....
They then send you your papers and with those and all the other papers go to Kela and apply for your card.
The whole thing takes over a month so get cracking.

If you have registered at the maistraatti then you must have a ID number it must be in the system now so you only need this number you do not need a Kela card to see a doctor.
If you are still worried about your pregnancy and you are in Helsinki you should go to the Kätilöopiston sairaala in Kumpula, Sofianlehdonkatu 5A 00610 Tel: 09 4711, straight away!

If you are Estonian you should have a European Health card (grey/violet plastic card) which entitles you to medical treatment throughout the EU. Your local social security office in Estonia should be able to post you one. I never travel anywhere in the EU without mine. The EU card is useful for filling the gap when you are in between residency in two EU countries.

Are you a student? Are you working?

my problem was that my registration in police and maistraatti was still so new that it wasnt yet in system , so i needed paper from maistraatti to show to nurse that i really have henkilötunnus..

Yes. Now you will get all those baby clothes and stuff (maternity box).
