packing material

Post by yamusarna » Thu Nov 22, 2007 11:13 pm

Hi,

I have to pack about 100 kgs of stuff in carton box for shipment to another country. I want to know where I can get the packaging material in Helsinki.I need carton boxes, adhesive tapes, and plastic sheets to cover the carton boxes. Is there any shop that sells such stuff?
I could find adhesive tapes, but i have no clue where to find the other items.

Your response will be welcome and apprecited.

Regards,
Yamuna.

http://www.biltema.fi
has the cheapest of all but then if you are going to pack a 100KG in 1 box..then you need to go pro..
But if you are going to pack many of em boxes..then this is the best value for the deal..
In the "Haku" area ( search) type laatikko ( or muutolaatikko =moving boxes).

Yes. See here.

Probably no (unless you’re a business that has outsourced their shipping & handling to them, or something.)

Prisma (S Group) had some red plastic packing boxes a couple fo weeks back. 31 litres for €5 a pop. We picked up 10, when we went back last week for more, they had sold out. Perhaps they have more stocks down there in the gleaming metropolis?
Political correctness is the belief that it's possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
