Hi, I'm happy to soon be traveling with my wife and kid to Gran Canarie in a couple weeks. I will be using taxis there so I am curious if I need to buy a car seat just for the trip or if there are other options? I have a heavyduty one now that is impossible to travel with. Anyone with previous similar experience your advice is welcome.
Also if I do need to take my own If their is a lightweight carseat out there {near Espoo} not in use for a 13 kilo kid I would be very thankful to be able to borrow it for a week!

Have a nice day!

My experience on Tenerife is that the taxis don't even have seatbelts. We
have rented a car the last couple of years that we've gone. The ILs are there
right now and we'll join them at the end of the week. I'll ask if there are
seatbelts in the taxis now. We rent a booster seat with the car, but ds is 6.
I'll get back with you soon about the Tenerife taxis.

FIL says that the taxis have seatbelts now. Maybe you could rent a booster
seat from the car rental places there.
