Sony Memory Stick

Hi,
I need to buy Memory stick for Sony camera. Camera is 8.1 Mpix. Any suggestion how much memory will be pratically enough ? and good place to buy ?

Well, I have 8.1 MP sony camera with 4 GB inbuilt memory, and it can take 1300 pictures at Full-HD (1080) maximum resolutions....

Depends on how you shoot the pictures. You don't specify the Sony brand.
Do you shoot in RAW? Tiff? Jpeg small? Jpeg big?
How many pictures do you shoot in average?

Just get the biggest capacity memory stick available (either 4MB or 8MB in think). I recommend buying it from ebay.co.uk. I have done this and got a 2MB sony memory stick (the small one) for 14 euros delivered. They cost 5 times this in the shops.

Thanks for replying for post. I am the one who don't like online shopping stuff.. scared of outcome .. Any shops in Helsinki area where I can go and purchage..

You mean 8GB not 8MB.

http://www.clasohlson.fi sell memory sticks, so do http://www.anttila.fi/ so do Stockmann http://www.stockmann.fi and probably every camera shop in the city.

I don't have a Sony, ours takes SD cards, we have a 2GB card from Clas Ohlson that was about €25... and before Christmas I picked up a 1GB for €10 from Citymarket. None of that helps much.
