income level in IT

Hello! ... Can anyone help me with some imformations about income level in Helsinki in IT domain.
I will have an interview with a company from Helsinki for QAManager position and I don`t have a clue about this things such as salary, work time and stuff.
I`m not from Finland and maybe the salary is good for my country but in Helsinki it can be too low to survive

Well, depends on your education, experience etc... 3K? After taxes thats 2K... work time is generally 7,5 hrs a day 5 days a week. http://www.mol.fi has a good pdf on "working in Finland".

Beginner 1-2 years exp gets about 2.2-3k brutto.
Developer with 5-7 years exp. gets about 3.5--4.5
Senior/team lead with 7+ years exp, about 5k may be more depends on qualification.

The rates for Helsinki region.

Note, if you are foreign unlikelly you get beginner's job in Finland, you would need at least 5 years exp. and good references.

"3 years of experience" is it a gross exp. in IT or is it experience as Team Leader? If 3 years is your total experience your chance of finding employer is very marginal.
