Until I read that the whole team (Giants that is) have the friggin flu, I really believed they would pull an upset win over the pats. there's so much pressure on the pats to win this, Giants don't have any pressure and they've been looking good lately. The "other" Manning is steppin up to the plate & been more consistent as of late. who knows what (if any) effect this flu will have on their game

Have you tried TVU player on the net? You get most of the channels from the 'Frisco area for free and much more. Simply download and thats it. The quality isn't the greatest but think of what it can do for your homesick blues to watch Saturday Night Live.....Live!

Don't have to, I've been through enough howlers listening to them live

I just turn the sound down until I can't hear the commentators on any channel
nowadays. It's much better

Wow, that was a really brilliant match! (And to be fair, the first ever super bowl and football match I have ever seen

)

I cheered for the Giants from the beginning (my motif; 'they were supposed to lose this game as patriots have not lost one match this year' (?) (always cheer for the underdog

),they're from NY (= I actually know geographically where they're coming from

) and they have a cooler name

) and the 4th quarter was actually nerve-breaking to watch. Was almost like watching the Finnish lions on the ice hockey rink

The only trouble I have with the superbowl is that the airing time does not take into consideration the Finnish students who have to go to a lecture the same morning about "the development of Elizabethan theatre; Marlowe in context"
