Hi there,
I'm also applying to several polytechnic schools this spring (Haaga-Helia, Metropolia and Arcada). A lot of people seem to say that the exam itself is quite easy, but I'm more worried about the quotas. On Arcada's website for example (on this page :
http://www.arcada.fi/index.php?id=2648) you can read that 1207 persons applied to Arcada as a first choice (so that makes even more people if you also consider those who chose it as a 2nd, 3rd or 4th choice) for a total of only 60 study places available

That's quite few! Does someone knows if so many people take the entrance exams? If it's the case, the selection must be really tight

Hi,
I am in the Internationl business program at Haaga-Helia. Started in January.
6000 people applied, 1500 had the needed documents (secondary school certificate) and were invited to the exam.
Just over 200 actually took the exam. Then 35 were accepted to the school.
Have a nice day!
