I guess it's gonna be just you and me in this thread... :D

I don't think Heikki will still be success, might be wrong thou. At least last season, he obviously tried too much resulting in dumb accidents and errors...

Nico... nah, he'll be like lil' Schumi in the shadow of Kimi and Heikki.

Ferrari testing seems to going well, so they seem to have a good chance.

Ham... interestingly enough Keke Rosberg said that the honeymoon's over with him and he'll down for a tough ride (no pun intended). Still I think he'll be a strong competitor.

Micheal Shumacher said last week that Nico Rosberg is the one to watch this year, even though the car isn't up to par with big two. The big difference this season is they banned traction control and its more up to the driver. I saw some testing footage on Utube and the screams of the engines now is just awesome!!!! The difference will be seen and heard! Hamilton has had problems in testing by going off (he has previously only driven F1's with traction control) and Kovalainens times have been impressive. Either way its either a Ferrari or Mclaren driver and then it has to be Raikkonen. As they say "When the flag drops, the b*!"#¤% stops!"

All forms of "modern" driver's aids are now banned, so I assume this includes launch control.

I'd guess that means a lot of failed starts and burned clutches and more cars out during the race... ie. more skill required vs more technology...

I'm going to keep my eye on Fishicella and the new team Force India (formerly Spyker, Midland, Jordan). Fisi has done some decent testing and they may be the first of the teams to get out of the basement. A small budjet team which seems to be getting it together. Maybe a finish in the points and the new Force India looks decent!

You're getting more Finnish every day... :ochesey:

I don't think Force India will make much of an impact this year... I read somewhere that they are definitely slower than most, and this being their first year, I'm sure reliability will be an issue too, especially with the new rules.

I found it! Check this out, Raikkonen testing in "pretty" dark conditions, but listen to the engine without traction control!!!!

The merger is great news for American Open Wheel racing! Actually it was more of IRL absorbing the bankrupt Champ Cars but now its one series and it can only go up. Stephan Bourdais who ruled Champ Cars for the last 5 years now is in the Formula 1 Toro Rosso team and he says the merger was a disaster for Champ Cars and he's glad he's out.

Ham claims in today's Hesari that this season will be easier...

On a related story, Brit media speculates that Ron Dennis would be leaving his current positions with Mac...

I belive this news came from spanish media originally....
It will be again McLaren and Ferrari fight(Kimi and Hamilton). Too bad with those poor ( :) ) Japanese teams if there's anything to believe from testing they will be sucking this year.
