Media Engineering entrance exam Evtek...help!

Hi. I have a friend who has acceptance to take the entrance course for Media Studies at Evtek university.
Can anybody help him out on what kind of things he needs to study, is there maths involved, should he brush up on his scientific calculator operation.
It's a tough thing to have finished school quite a few years ago and be thrown into an exam situation all over again with no guidelines on what to study...
But I guess it's something everyone has to deal with.
