Dates for putting Summer tyres

Can anybody please let me know the date to put on summer tyres/pointers to the same? Is it different for different regions?

Legally you can change to summers on 1st March.

by winter tyres you mean studded tyres.....not those friction tyres marked with M+S which is allowed all year round...

and no..M+S is not Marks & Spencer...its Mud+Snow

Yup, although the legislation is rather cloudy, as it also includes the line, "or when road conditions require" the use of winter tyres.

We are still having night frosts up here, most people still had studs on yesterday.

cooldude, we are forecast -5 on monday night, so if you drive early in the morning, you might want to postpone until next weekend.

Yeah we got a few cm of snow earlier this week and it has only reached +2 daytime!

as i know by 4 th of april! u can check this from ake.fi but basicly by end of this month u need to change it, they r going to check soon! i´m gonna changing my tyres next tuesday
