It's only April. After midsummer it would be weird.

Nah, that's not weird. You just think it's weird because we had such a warm winter LOL.
I've seen snow in June years ago in Kokemäki. It's a dipsh*t little town North West of Helsinki (about two hours).

I bet its Hervanta. Those buildings are too big to be in Kaleva.
Anyway, don't be afraid to change your tires now. The snow isn't going to be sticking to the roads anymore.

I just back from central Finland and there is glare ice on the roads. Major roads are salted while the secondary ones aren't.Good thing I didn't change my tires. The locals up there always wait until May 1st., before they switch to summer tires.

Well true, I guess it depends where you are from. Down south I think its safe but up north its still unpredictable what's gonna happen weather wise.

I think down south when you see people in terraces enjoying a beer, you can also change to summer tires.

Hehe, Hank's right, if that was the case it could have been done a while ago. Heck... I've already seen 5 different cars with thier convertable tops down too, driving around.

There were some folks drinking on the seats outside The Old Bricks on Saturday!

Oh yeah, and remember people... Despite it being warm during day and no ice...
Nights can still be rather chilly. Had to scrape my car this morning when I left for work. So if you travel early in the morning, better be safe than sorry. That melted snow may have pooled and frozen on the road.
