does my degree suck in Finland?
If it is not a Finnish degree, people need to understand the curriculum first. And compare it with the Finnish alternative.
If they consider it weaker, then indeed it sucks. Looking at the grades comes later and is less important.

The problem is they know only of "honorary" degrees

Hons degrees are a bit like in Finnish high school "long maths". However at the uni level there has been no difference between basic vs. advanced degree courses, the only difference is your "major" and your "minor"... but you get the diploma in your major where you do your thesis from.
