wedding gift to take back to Canada

My cousin is getting married about 3 days after I fly back from Finland, so I thought I would get a gift from here for them. I've never bought a wedding gift before. I know they have gift registries at stores like Sears, The Bay, Home Outfitters (which I guess is basically stuff for the home), but I don't know what items they've picked out. I'm thinking that I can get away with not buying one of their specified items since I'm getting something 'special' from another country

Any suggestions?
