...the new system crashed last week and my understanding is that the results will not be available for several days. Some schools have managed to post their Autumn 2008 enrolments on their webpages, others have posted lists at the schools (as in... piece of paper nailed to the front door).
All in all a great big mess from start to finish as far as I could tell. My ninth-grader was devastated yesterday morning to find his name was not on the list posted on the web-page of the school of his choice but decided to go into town and double-check. And (good) surprise, his name WAS on the list stuck on the window at the main entrance.... we double-double-checked with an email and YES he's in!!!
Anyway TE (who provided the application) has a whole year to figure out what went wrong and get it fixed before next Spring.
