I am looking for a kitten for our family. We just would like a normal cat, no special breed etc. Can anybody advice me where to find one? Thank you!

Might I suggest you look in the classifieds of your local newspapers, people will quite often give away kittens there.
You could also put up a "Otetaan kissanpentu" (will take a kitten) notice in the message board of a local vet´s office.

But for those who ask themselves the same question, look at the "Rekkurescue" page on the net, they have tons of Kitties/doggies looking for a loving home in there, all ages, sizes, colors or breeds.
I got 2 of my 3 cats in there, and they are angels!!! <3
