Hi all!
Hope you are all doing well.
I'm sure such a thing doesn't exist, but can anyone recommend a plumber in the Helsinki area who is available, good, reasonably price and speaks some English?
I just bought one of those table-top dishwashers that I'd like installed. I'd quite like to give it a go myself, but I've never done any plumbing DIY work myself, so probably safer to get a professional in.
Plumber - Helsinki?

If you live in an appartment block you will have a company responsible for maintenance work.
Although instaling new devices is not on their list of what they can/will do, because they are a "fix/repair" outfit.
However, they are always interested if anyone might attempt to DIY in the plumbing area.
Residents ...own fixing and repairing damage/flood control.
Send your wife to their office to ask for advice. (their address is on the notice board in the entrance hall).
They probably sub contract out the plumbing work and will put her in contact with their "Putkimies".
If you live in a detached house...No maintenance company...ask around the neighbours.
People do not become more irritable as they grow old - they simply stop making the effort to avoid annoying others.
