I was checking through CIMO database regarding bachelor degree courses offered in English by Finnish Universities. To my utter surprise, it didn't show much courses. I checked individual university web sites and again I didn't see bachelor courses offered in English by most universities.
Now, I am not sure if universities do not offer Bachelor degree courses in English or I just didn't/couldn't see them. Anyone with any idea on that?

Re: Bachelor degree in University!
they have a clear division. to study in English from the start you need to go in an UAS, "real" universities offer masters courses only for which you need to have a "real" university bachelor's degree from somewhere else.

What he is saying translated into English..
Ref Degree courses.
There are no bachelors degree courses in English in Finland, only masters degree courses, to be accepted onto one of those courses one needs a bachelors degree from a recognised university.
However there are Non Degree courses in English, the entry qualification you can find from the CIMO data base.

There are only a few, i.e. a small handful. The Universities (which are not the same as the Universities of Applied Sciences) mostly only offer Master's level programmes, when it comes to options available in foreign languages (=English).
The huge majority of Bachelor's level programmes in Finnish universities are offered in Finnish, or Swedish. For some strange reason

Despite what you thinkDeidra wrote:i think there are no bachelors degree courses in English in Finland, only masters degree courses.

see http://www.admissions.fi (UAS) and http://www.universityadmissions.fi ('traditional' universities)
But yes, the universities (as opposed to the UAS's) mainly offer only Master's level programmes in English. Mind you, the UAS's also offer a number of Master's courses for which you need at least three years of work experience after your Bachelor's. Admission for these, however, is not through the joint application system above but directly to the UAS in question.
You can also check them all from this database, already mentioned in the first message but not linked to.
