Recommend cheap places for extending the car heating system.

Hi all,

Can somebody recommend a cheap place to get the wiring (sisähaaroitus) extended from the engine block heater for the internal blower? The official dealer prices are not too attractive!

Well the standard hour price for that type of work is 60 euros / hour. The kit is only about 100 euros (extension only) so should be anywhere around 150/170 euro mark. How much have you been quoted?

Hi peteh,

A little above that, about 225. What I find a little frustrating is that the work is *very* less compared to the price: drill a hole, coat it and cap it with anti-rust material, connect the wire, slide it in and fix it to the mat. About an hour's job!

So, I was actually looking for a place where they do it by the hour. And somewhere I can watch time fly by.

you'd have to go out of Keha 3 for that!! There is Shell and teboil in Kirkkonummi that will do it cheaper...but then If you are in East Hki or Vantaa, it could be a drive..

Try these guys, I got an alternator replaced there last year. They charge by the hour.
