Football for Women?

In Helsinki? Anyone know of anywhere that won't shoo me away if I want to play a game? Or somewhere in Helsinki I can play with other women. Thanks.

There are plenty of women football teams within Helsinki. It shouldn't be hard getting into a team because the standards of finnish leagues aren't so demanding. It all depends on your level of skill...is it just a hobby for you or is it something you've done as a sport more seriously in the past? In case it's the later, if you do have some experience of previously belonging to an established football team, you should be able to approach feminine football sections of known helsinkian teams asking for a trial withouth much problems.

I have played in the past on my Uni team but I don't really want anything too serious just a kick about. You say there are many places for women to play in Helsinki, do you by any chance know where these places would be? Thanks Nordisch for your reply.
