Groceries

Post by Nordisch » Tue Dec 02, 2008 3:02 pm

I've been hit with a quite bad case of flu these last days. Today it got to the point I can't even get to the balcony for my usual smoke. And I've totally ran out of food in this place. So I was wondering, do any of the finnish supermarket chains have a home delivery system? Or do I really need to drag my ass out there on the streets? Trying to avoid to worsen this health condition in here...thanks in advance if anybody can help somehow.

http://www.ruokatori.fi/ but you have to order before 14:30 day before delivery so not for acute need. Or call taxi (not tilauskeskus but directly to taximan) and ask them to pick up food to you. I used that taxi thing once but thats expensive, 4x1,5l yellow jaffa and pack of burana was about 40e iirc :)
And of course taximan can refuse to do that. Best option is ask favour from a friend.
