just a question is do you have the balcony into the right direction.. as when you look outside if nobody else has a dish then there might be a reason...

Re: Satellite Receiver...
OK (rich guy) just many people here in the city ask too much information the answer is "no" they get too frustrated....
look for raam and Juha's posts, theres a lot on satellite - as for your local look in yellow pages or ask the neighbors who have satellite... or do they think you come steal their children?
BTW I do have a satellite finder kit so if you can get a dish someplace I can send you the box for loan.

Re: Satellite Receiver...
I also have an extra dish ( 75 cm) that I could let go for a cheap price..
It all depends on what channels you want to watch..and from how many satellites..

Re: Satellite Receiver...
yea i think getting a dish wont be problem, when i worked in a shop that sells dishes, regular sized ones were around 15€ so i think they would be same in Finland too or little expensiver. But is there some sort of companies that handles setting it on or so?Pursuivant wrote:OK (rich guy) just many people here in the city ask too much information the answer is "no" they get too frustrated....

Re: Satellite Receiver...
Well, In Finland, the problem in precision. and Since Turksat is 42 Degrees East, you would need at least a 75cm dish but a 1-1.5m would be preferable and you aint getting that for €15..
and Since you need to find the satellite, Unless you have a digital tuner, the 42 degrees east will be like finding a needle in a haystack when you dont know jack siht!! so think about it again!! before you start investing your € and finding that it could actually end up 1000s more..

Re: Satellite Receiver...
Just buy the biggest dish you can afford, and the best quality lnb. and a compass. Be prepared to stand outside in the cold waving your dish around until you connect.
I have the cheapest Lidl sat finder you can buy and it worked fine.
Don`t know about Turkey but Polish tv is a doddle.
After all the trouble i went to, I decided that tv is rubbish anyway... good luck
