best time to get a job

hi all,I come to finland twice a month to visit my finnish girlfriend,who lives in turku. I am an electrical maintenance engineer and am finding it impossible to get a job. Is there a good time of year to get a job,I have realised that the last couple of months have been useless and have been told that january is also a bad time.

Why do you think it is the time of year that is effecting your chances of getting a job?
You say you are an electrical Maintenance engineer? But do you have finnish certifcation? Do you speak Finnish?
If not then I suggest you only have a very slim chance of getting a job in your choosen field whatever the time of year.
Also have you taken any notice of the number of skilled workers being laid off in Finland at the moment?
