when are the shops and pharmacies open today, tomorrow and around new year's??

The legal opening times are:

2009: http://www.pty.fi/aukiolo2009.html

You need to scroll down to get the table of opening times. I guess 2009 might change if the govt gives an early go-ahead for Sunday opening. Though the articles I read said it wouldn't happen in 2009.

Of course individual stores can choose when to open inside those limits.
