USB internet dongle connected direct to a wireless router

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with plugging a USB GSM system (mobiililaahakaista) into a wireless router direct so that I can share the connection. eg like this http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=221108

We have lots of wi-fi kit in the house and only need a slow 500kb connection to run most of the gear. Our downloading is mainly text and audio.

Any experiences with this would be really useful.

Newest MikroBitti had review of 3G routers for home use. Dovado UMR was one of reviewed routers and it has usb-connection for 3G dongle.
