Now why would they want to do that?

And second question is... How would you manage your refuel trip so that you do not waste the difference in price in simple act of driving there and back?

Differences in prices tend to be in category of cents at least here. And cent does not buy you much fuel.

All major news outlets here in Finland like Iltalehti, Nelonen, MTV3 news, YLE, etc. use www.polttoaine.net as their source when reporting prices of fuel so I would imagine that's the best place just like these other guys here are saying.

Re-fuel during a trip for something else? e.g. Every couple of weeks we go out to kerava. I usually fill up then, since the petrol is a fairl bit cheaper their or in Tuusula.

btw. Remember that the S and Plussa cards give discounts on fuel at some stations. e.g. I use S-kortti works at ABC - combined with my other purchases I usually end up with 3-4% off

Note that ABC and the Neste oils where you get plussa points always are 2-5 cents per liter more expensive, so you pay your discount first.

So what would you do with it? You want to know real time fuel prices for gas stations... Don't tell me it is for purpose of supporting the most expensive station!
Or if you do it for purely entertainment value... Well, whatever rocks your boat.

In essence, you DO want to get cheapest fuel possible. Because everything else would be foolish. And thus, gas stations hardly have many reasons to try to provide that information.

But your petrol purchases helps to get money off other shopping. AND, 4 % is way bigger that 2 cents a liter...

You have to put the S-card in first, select "Bonus", then take it out and insert whatever payment method you wish to use.

And only works on ABC stations or similar.
