Need a Nanny/Daycare for Kid

Post by pranavla » Wed Feb 04, 2009 1:22 pm

Hi,

We are a Indian family for a short term stay in Helsinki & have a 4 yrs old son.I have checked couple of English medium private Kindergarden/Daycare for his admission but everywhere there is a long waiting list.

I want my son to visit some daycare or activity centre so that he remains occupied or else he is too bored in house.

Can any body advice a private English daycare where I can get admission for my son for 6 months? I live in Kalevankatu,is there any thing mear to this place?

I am also exploring the option of Nanny so that he can be involved for few hours daily. I came to know that nanny handle a small group of children. Any idea on the charges? Do any body know such nanny in Kalevankatu nearby area?

http://www.kodinavux.fi
only in Finnish..and generally provides services for sick children when parent need to work..
Private ENglish daycares are pretty expensive..
recently, there was an advertisement for some sort of evening care provider near ruoholahti..so search in this section...
The best way that is free is to take your son to the park daily and establish a routine...
dress properly, take some food/drinks..and rest is free..
Generally, its going to be difficult to get a provider for a short term ( and evenif you do, it will be pretty expensive)..
search in this sections for many places to go with Children...
